Hello there Marijo,
To go to Gili Air or the other islands you definitely need more than one day. Flying to Mataram only takes 30 minutes maximum but another hour or so to get to Bangsal Harbour plus an hour to Gili Air takes nearly a day. The 2 hour trip on the Bounty boat is from Senggigi or Lembar, I think, so you must still get to Lombok. Basically you need more time to go to the Gilis
