in 3 weeks time. Their first trip. I was there June last year and a week after the bombings in Oct last year and have to say that it felt much more secure and safer in Oct! Ofcourse security was at the max at that point.
Anyway we are headed off the general tourist areas as I prefer the quieter less built up areas but that said, I have no fears taking my kids. My girls are 2, 4 and 6 (tomorrow) and I know that they will have an experience that will open their eyes to the world and how priviliges a life we actually lead. My greatest fear is that one or heaven forbid all of them will get Bali belly and I'll be spending my holiday cleaning up after them!!!!!
So yes I think its just as safe as anywhere else in the world with the added bonus of the Balinese people!
