A short walk south of the Santrian is a beach restaurant named Kesuma. Food is good and cheap. Beer is cold and cheap. my wife and I often share a whole grilled fish with a few beers and total is a around 50-60,000 rp. Opposite Hyatt is a new seafood restaurant named Sea Horse. Beside this is Indian Restaurant named Clay Pot. Both are good. Run by Indian guy named Suni. Not far from Santrian on Jalan danau Poso is hotel frequented by expat Aussies(I fit into this catagory)This is named Bali Senia. Run by Aussie guy Peter. Is the place to watch football, get cold beer and Aussie style food. He also has Skype connected, this is good for cheap international phone calls. Just north of Santrian on the beach are two restaurants Donalds and Bobbies. Both are good. Food better in Donalds but beer colder in Bobbies.
