Hi
We recently returned from Bali. Whilst we were there John closed his leather shop on Padma Street, at this stage it is not relocating.
His restaurant reopened as reported on this site, but he is very understaffed due to closing his restaurant early in the year and letting his staff go.
He has family assisting him, but he is very run off his feet at the restaurant.
If you travelling in a large group be prepared to sit and wait a long time for service, including ordering your meal and waiting for it to be cooked.
While we were there, many people very upset we the time it took, during the evening.
Still nice food, no sign of Nengah his wife or the baby. We were a little disappointed, took gifts for the baby. John didnt seem to be that interested in what we had given him, which upset me a bit as I put a lot of work into the gifts.
Regards
Julie
