Hi in answer to your question the Bali Zoo Park in on the way to Ubud, at a place called Gianyer. It cost $10 American per person to get in which I thought was well worth the money. The day we went there it was raining so when we walked through the walk through aviary there weren't many birds to see as they had taken shelter from the rain. The Zoo is well set out and I think it's worth the visit.
While there you can have your photo taken with a huge python (I backed out on that one) or a toucan or Iguana. You can get these prints done on a Tee Shirt or mug. Forget what the shirts cost but we got ours done on the mugs for twenty five thousand rupee each. They turned out brilliant
