We really love Donalds down south on the beach at Sanur. You an get a Bemo (cheap and an quite an experience, 2000 rp each)and get off either at a restaurant nr Sanur Beach Hotel and walk through to beach but it is a bit dark. Better to go through Sanur Beach Hotel, Westerners are never challenged. Someone said they will pick you up free but I don't know their phone no.
Sindhu Beach Market, we have bought from Jeny 29 and Tootsie is next door. Both fixed price stores and lovely people. I've been buying from them for 4 years. Jeny said to me check everything. I thought I had and then when I was packing one case while we were at Jimbaran and the idea was that we wouldn't need to open that case again (yeah right)decided to take off the clear wrapping and found a small hole in one of them. First time for it had happened. Rang Jeny and she said what can you do from Australia and I told her we were in Jimbaran and so I obtained the exact location of her other store at Sth Kuta and took the t shirt back there and exchanged it. In the process I met her daughter Amy, looks just like her mother and as nice, of course bought a few other things. Then we walked along the beach to the Discovery Mall. Had to be careful with some of the steps up from the beach. On the way saw the back of quite a few resorts. Much more interesting than walking down the street.
