We went to the Bali Zoo in June and it was fantastic. It was nothing like the Melbourne Zoo but was still a great outing. The cost was USD10 for entry. Not sure about children as we were a group of adults. We also paid for our driver to come with us and he had a fantastic time also. It is very well set out and you can also feed some of the animals. There were lots of fantastic photo opportunities with the various animals and birds. A word of warning....be wary of the orang-utang. There are signs around his enclosure advising people to be careful as he likes to throw things and he is not fussy about what he throws at you either. All in all a great day full of many laughs.
