I was watching a video the other day of our last visit to the Bali Zoo Park. We did the visit as part of a larger outing with a driver one day. Although I cant recall exact location it wasnt as far out as the elephant park, and all the drivers will know where to take you. If I could find my travel diary I would be able to tell you exact price, but from memory I think for a family of four it was less than $50AU to get in, and included a drink and icecream for the kids. It was worth every penny, as I held hands with this beautiful Gibbon for ages. I nearly smuggled her home, she was so beautiful. We held birds and python for photos (we took our own) but think you could buy from them also. Friends of mine also had photos taken with traditionally dressed balinese lady which was transposed onto a ceramic display plate - nice memento. There was a tiger, komodos etc, but for me the monkey was the highlight as well as the photo opportunities. So I suggest you hire a driver for the day to take you to the zoo park as well as any other spots you want, and you'll take home some fantastic pictures. Not a huge zoo, but a nicely laid out one, and with up close experiences.
