I made a new posting because my comments were not just about this thread. If I have broken some unwritten rule, I apologise. I'd like to add that this is not a book or a newspaper, its an internet forum with contributions from people of all walks of life. Yes, it is more difficult to read something that isn't typed up as you would read it in a book or a newspaper, with correct grammar and spelling etc, but it's not that hard either. My main concern is that it may stop others posting if english was never their favourite subject at school. I also thought it was pretty unreasonable to single one person out as there are a lot of reports posted that are written im a similar manner.
