& the guy was pretty desperate. He offered to take us into Denpasar, muck around at the bird market, a couple of hours shopping, etc for 150,00. To my mind that was too cheap, so after agreeing on the cost, we ended up paying a decent amount more. He was a lovely guy, & I regret we didn't keep his card.
