The food is fine.
A bit isolated, but great if you like to do a bit of walking. You could walk to Nimala Supermarket in 15 minutes (maybe).
Got a nice pool, fantastic views, and some interesting country side about with caves, and dry ravines etc.
Also got cricket net, and I think a tennis court.
The owners (Meryl & Alan Wilson) have a unique story to tell, haveing flown their own cessna light plane out to Aus/NZ from Kenya in the 60's
when the Mau Mau uprising became threat their familly, (being vets, as with animals).
The lodge also has a good library.
The Wilsons also have an Eco-Lodge in labuan Baju (west end of Flores and main point of departure for Komodo), and another in the guts of Borneo (Kalimantan) where they are aiding orangutan presevation.
Guaranty the bintang is ice cold in any of their lodges, 24/7.
