Don't waste your time searching the archives for masses of information - you are only in Bali for 5 days. Realistically, you aren't going to be able to fit that much in.
Get a driver (you will be asked a billion times if you want transport, it won't be hard to find) and go to the places that interest you for a day. Ubud (cultural, arty town with a monkey forest)and Kintamani (you will see the volcanoes from here) are worth a visit; Tanah Lot temple on the sea is lovely at sunset, and lots of people swear by Jimbaran Bay for a candlelit seafood meal on the sand.
Of course, you have to experience the Kuta Sunset with a beer at an esky on Kuta Beach.
Eat amazing food at fantastic value on Poppies Lane 1 and 2 in Kuta/Legian, and walk up to Jalan Legian to shop for souveniers and great value surf gear (the Aussies go mad) at the surf shops up there.
White water rafting is a great day out, and if you are really up for an adventure and fancy a bit of a trek, climb Mount Batur - seeing the sunrise above the clouds from a volcano crater is really something.
If you surf or just want to visit a beautiful beach and watch the pros ride the waves, head to the paradise that is Dreamland Beach for an afternoon.
Finally, drink some Arak (local spirit), learn to say 'good!' (bagus), 'thank you!' (terima kasih) and 'you're welcome!' (sama sama) in Bahasa Indonesia, and take time out to talk to the local people. This is never fails to be the best part of any trip to Indonesia.
Have a fantastic RTW trip.
