I rang a Vodafone store today to see if they have changed their policy with regard to locking phones. The woman I spoke with told me that 2 of the phones they have are now locked..but not really if you can work that out.
For the purposes of gathering information, if you purchase a 'locked' phone from them you contact them answer some questions and then will be given the code to unlock the mobile, no charge.
Seems very odd to me but i guess for anyone going to buy a Vodafone mobile check witht the store as to what the procedure is etc..
