The beach at Sanur is just one big long beach with different areas on the beach given their suburb name. Much like Kuta/legian/ Seminyak, is just one beach. As Colleen said, the beach hawkers around Sindhu are pretty aggressive and ignoring them is so hard. But as well as the beach shops, there is Jalan Tambligan which runs from one end of Sanur to the other and I think you get as good a range of shops here as you would in Kuta, just not the number of them. We still go over to the west coast for shopping occasionally, its not that far away.
