I recently flew Jetstar for the first, second, third and fourth timess... and I must say that that I thought that it wasn't too bad for a budget airline. I have flown on most major carriers throughout the world so I believe that I am reasonable well qualified to comment. I must admit I hate Virgin Blue (flown 10 times) with their 18yo flight attendants trying to play Hitler and crack jokes. I don't know what some people want on their airline but the main reason I fly is to get to point B from Point A in a reasonably comfortable, cost effective manner. If you are saving 30 odd percent of the costs of a full priced ticket who cares if you pay $3.00 for a coke (not $5!). I must admit the leg room in Jetstar is pretty poor and I would hope that this would be improved for longer flights than just domestic but at this stage let's see what they come up with!
