Yeah they'll pick you up from your hotel for anb extra 5000 rupiah - then drop you off at the main office on Jl Legain where you have to wait for ages and then get on another bus. This was a bit annoying as it wasted lots of time.

The main bus to Lovina wasn't a minibus but the larger bus that Perama uses. It is usually extremely cramped and always very hot. I sat on the back row (the only place with any kind of leg room) and we had to have the back door open all the way just to get some air. The bus's suspension has completely gone so the ride was extremely uncomfortable - I nearly fell out the open door on several occassions. After four hours of this, it wasn't really that funny anymore - especially when the bus went to about a million other places on the way to Lovina (Sanur, drop off for Lembongan, Ubud...).

On the way back from Lovina, I purposely booked with another company, who used a proper minibus with aircon and went to Kuta directly (much shorter journey).

Fronm Kuta, Perama seems to be the cheapest shuttle service (70,000 I think). The buses back from Lovina (not Perama) are cheaper than all those in Kuta, so don't book a return trip. But even though Perama is cheapest, I would choose another shuttle company (available on lots of the boards outside travel agents/money changers) as you will hopefully have a shorter and more comfortable ride. They will all pick you up from your hotel (and with the smaller comapanies, this should be the only bus you will need to get on - no waiting round at a main terminal).
