anything from that night ! He was in the room next to us & didn't get out of bed the next day till 4pm.He was confident that it was the cigar that made him sick,naturally he said it could have absolutely nothing to do with the copious amount of liquid he had consumed the night before.<VBG>
The earliest others in the group we took with us got up was mid -day.News of what our little group got up to that night had spread around town by the next morning many of the locals we know were having a good giggle as myself or the others walked around town!Needless to say a lot of Panadol,water & Berocca was consumed by all who went out that night.
I would highly recommend a visit to Ponjok Indah restaurant & winery up in the hills behind Lovina at Kayuputih.It's up past the Damai hotel,on the road that leads up to the hills opposite the markets- you should see a sign that says " Damai hotel" Make sure you book because they don't open every night.
Fritz & Ceria are wonderful hosts,the food is great & so are their wines that they make at their winery across the road.They serve 1st grade quality steaks cooked how ever you like,with chips & salad,for vegetarians the choice is fish.They are very generous with their serves & the food just keeps coming till you say no more please,then they keep on asking " are you sure".It's an all inclusive price for your meal.I think they also provide transport if you request it when you make your booking.I think the wine cost 80,000 a bottle to drink in either the restaurant or to take home.They do about 12 different fruit wines - without artificial preservatives.
After dinner you are invited across the road to their winery for a fun night of music,story telling,singing & jokes as well as a wine tasting of a " few drinks" & everyone has a ball.Some people like a certain forumite from Darwin - who's name I won't mention definately had the time of his life when he went <LOL> I wonder if he'd be game to go again next time he goes to Lovina ?
