just wanted to say that someone also mentioned to me that the Arena Hotel might be worth a look too, so I am going to pop in and check that one out in March. It is in a gang that runs off Poppies 1 near the Tree House Restaurant, so nearer to the beach.
Try the Kuta Puri for prices as suggested, but I must say that in Oct 2004 I enquired about prices (walking in off the street) and thought the prices quoted (in $US) were quite high at that time - things change though, and you might have more flexibility in your budget than I did!
Thanks Camille - I'll check out Ayu Beach also, although there is just something about the feel of the Masa Inn that I love, so I can see that becoming my second home!
