what everybody has said is the go.you only pay for the actual gold. there is no mark up on gold jewelery.you pay for what gold is worth on the day.we bought a braclet a few years ago for $A300.00.had it valued here at $1,200.00.if you had to sell it in aussie and went to a pawn shop they do just what dealers do in bali.find out what %is or carats put it on a scale,take todays rate and thats what the will give you.we took braclet to pawn shop and they said they will give us $A300.00.thats how it works in a nut shell.basically you will be paying about 1/4 of the retail price in aussie.nb they don not have any 9ct gold in bali.its all in %'s.see mics notes.bottom line,buy as much as you can afford you cant loose.good luck.
