You will probably find is is cheaper to purchase the package deal.
I made the same type of enquiry last week, different hotel.
Althought the accom is cheaper in Bali, you will pay more for your flight if it is not part of a package. The flight cost was around $200 more.
It is worked out in a more complex manner than this, but after all the number crunching, the package was the best way to do it.
