Stayed there in 2004 in the older section closest to the beach. Had a look at the new rooms but personally preferred the older rooms. I wasn't overly fussed with the food and a number of us got very ill that year but we cannot be sure what it was that made us ill or if it was in fact MBR. It is a very popular hotel. I personally prefer to stay at the Kumala Pantai or Ramayana however the rooms at MBR (older ones) are very big compared to these 2 hotels. You can get a suite at KP or a family room at Ramayana.
