They were not strict last Tuesday, with excess luggage yes, but not with what some people carried on the plane. I was business class and was asked what had luggage I had. I just had the usual carry on bag and an umbrella. One lady carried on a mirror, almost full length, I don't know where she stowed it, one guy was still carrying his beer and others had at least 2 big bags.
