Phone numbers in the "Phone book" can be saved to the sim card and or to the phone. If you have saved them to the phone memory the numbers of people you will need or want will still be available but if they are saved to your sim card you won't be able to get them when you put in a Bali sim card. This can be all so confusing :-(
