If you can, get your friend to measure an existing flat thong or sandal and take a tape measure with you when you buy.

I am a 10 and a Bali 44 but there are lots of sellers who have 44s which are too small. I dont always trust the sizing labels. If you have your tape measure and her measurements its much easier to know you will be getting her ones that fit.
