There are several ways to get to Lembongan.
Cheapest way is to get a public boat from Sanur. Boats leave from the beach [at the end of Jalan Hang Tuah] cost around $5.00. They leave around 7.00am from memory, and sometimes there is more than one boat. Get there pretty early to purchase aticket from the little office on the beachfront. Be prepared to join a crowded boat with motorbikes, pigs, chooks and the days produce. Can be fun..can be challenging! There is [was] also a Tourist boat that leaves from the same place later on [around 10 I think]. I am not sure if thee is a return from the island later in the day though...as far know, the boats only operate early morning.
You could also go over on one of the big cats - Bali Hai Cruises - They will pick you up from your hotel. take will drop you on the island as well as the pontoons, and you can do what you like till its time to leave. They then drop you back at your hotel! Depends on your budget really. I think the Bali Hai is about $70.00 Aussie.
