We checked out the beaches in Seminyak and Legian and didn't care for the sand water or cleanliness, so we have returned to the Bali Hai in Tuban Hotel in Tuban. The hotel is great and the sand and swimming are more to my tastes. The buffet is grand and it separate from the fast pace enough for me to be comfortable. We were supposed to return to Hong Kong today, but I'm having the time of my life. Ruthrat had to return for work on Sunday, but for $30US Cathay changed my flight to Thursday. Oh happy day! Five more days in Bali. My journal is growing and taking on a life of it's own. I've been too busy to find computer time, but now that the rat has departed I can indulge myself. I'm at Kuta Square to change money, burn a media card to cd, deliver a gift to a friend at Quicksilver and do some shopping at Matahari's. As I am own my own for the next five days, I am free to do as I please. If anyone would enjoy some interesting company and conversation, or perhaps a bite to eat around 6 pm. I can be reached at the Bali Hai. My name is John Talisman and the hotel will save any messages. The phone number is 75 30 35. My room number will change tomorrow, but they know me at the desk. This is only my second time to Bali, but I am a quick study and have many tips and opinions you might find of interest. Also I am open to suggestion. I'm 64, but big time fit and have seen and done a lot in the past three weeks. If any of you would enjoy talking eating or spending beach time at the Bali Hai I have a prime spot under the second umbrella to the left and the pool staff will be happy to accomadate any of my guests. I'm not soliciting flesh, funds or freaks, but love to tell and hear good stories and have some interesting tales and would enjoy hearing yours. Equal opportunity raconteurs are welcome. Wow, did I just write this? I did, and hope to draw some interest and fun. Jingle John di Bali
