On the little gang way that leads down to the Pantai restaurant, running off JL Kartika Plaza is a zillion little stalls on the left. On the end closest to the beach, maybe 2 - 3 stalls in, is the best fixed price place. It's called RAMA, and I got shoes there I couldn't find anywhere else, Imelda is MY middle name.... Also another fantastic place to get stuff from is the Black & White sport and mini market, it's about 2 shops up from the Bali Rani, on the same side. IT's run by a lovely Chinese couple, the hubby's English isn't too good, his wife is a dream. It doesn't look too impressive at first, but they have some very nice stuff, including handbags, all at very very good fixed prices. Im a half decent haggler, and they're usually cheaper than I can manage to haggle for. I would really recommend you go there. If by some chance June falls through for you, if you were to go there, and mention Fiona who lost her voice, I'm sure they would remember me, as they wanted to take me to their doctor!! Wonderfuly lovely people. Where are you staying? We're at the budget Green Garden, as always...
