I have been to Lovina many times. It is very laid back, quiet and gentle. The main area for food and cafes etc. is Kalibukbuk. It is nothing like Kuta more of a cross between Sanur and Seminyak.

You should try and visit Banjar (Hot springs) and the Buddhist Temple, also Git Git Waterfall. You can negotiate a driver to take you to all three it takes approx half a day. There is a nice cafe at the Hot Springs for lunch. Boats also take you out at 6am dolphin watching for approx Rp30,000 per head. You may also like to do this.

I hope this helps,

Regards,

Dave
