how busy are the school holidays?

hi all, we are off to Bali for 12 nights in the July school holidays with our 4 children, everyone very excited, I hear it has been pretty quiet so far this year, how busy does it get in the school holidays? We are staying at Melasti Beach Resort...anyone else going to be there then? and what is it like, very hard to choose looking at brochures
