Ask for the manager. His name is Tchorkorda [say it like chock for short]. Tell him that his hotel is recommended to you by Rex from Australia, the friend of Roby and Denise from France. Say that Rex says that a fair price is about X Rupia [work it out as equivalent to about AU$22]. He'll probably tell you that costs have gone up since Rex and Emiko last stayed there [true] and ask you for a bit more. Stick on the equivalent of AU$25 and you should get it, particularly if you stay for a few days and he hasn't many other guests.

We popped in to see the people here in October, although we didn't have the time to stay on that occasion. They only had one room occupied. I'm not a hard man, I really feel for these people. They deserve better than this. I try for a good deal, but I don't hammer people into the ground. I know this because they welcome me back as a friend and they know I try to direct business their way.

Sorry, I'm getting a bit carried away. Hope everything goes well for you and you have a great time.
