On a budget, you can do it for a lot less than that a day.n I'm not aure about the better than average private suite though, might bump up the price a bit! You can eat well for 50,000 each a day, in restaurants, if you want. It isn't expensive to stay in Bali if you try. I used to spend around 170,000 a day around Kuta.
Lombok is very different to Bali - lots of people that like Bali don't like Lombok. I think it's great. It is very quiet and much less touristy, and of course, Muslim, so everything is a bit different. The people are lovely. You can surf at Kuta Beach, which is really picturesque and quiet. The three islands called the Gilis are absolutely fantastic - so beautiful (no surf though) with loads of great places to hang out on cushions. Just don't expect shopping malls and great night clubs (although there is an alright one called Marina in Sengiggi) from Lombok. Go there if you want something a bit different.
