we go to Bali often from Akl. i think 10 trips. we take $US50 to pay for arport visa & 2 EFPOS cards each from a diferent bank. there are now EFPOS machines everywhere. we draw cash from machine every couple of days so then don't have great wads of money to worry about & much less stressfull when you don't have to deal with money changes. if you are going to rent a car keep you cash in 2 seperate pockets as for sure you will be pulled over by the cops who will demand instant payment for some trumped up traffic infringement, you can then empty your pocket with the least money in it & say that is all you have. dont show cops EFPOS card as i have on one ocassion been driven in police car to money machine. hope that helps. have a great holiday
