Our son is now 2 and this will be his third time to Bali (1st when he was 8 months and then again at 18 months). You are not crazy - your kids will love it.
Dynasty is a great choice with kids this age especially the young one. They have a baby pool which is below knee deep and then there is the kids pool attached to it for the older one. They both have sun shades over them as well.
Alot of mums take their monitors and laze beside the kids pool while the little ones sleep. Pool side room is a good choice. Ask for rooms on the Santika side (not the Kartika side) as they are closer to the kids pool.
We have always taken pram/stroller with us and we will again in March. It saves having to carry them and handy if shopping at the Dept stores or markets. Your kids will be too young for the kids club (must be 4 or over) but they can go there as long as you go with them. Our son loves the craft and frog catching & races etc. The babysitters are suppose to also be very professional and wonderful ladies. We have not used them our selves but a close friend does every day of their holidays at the Dynasty and said they follow her instructions to the letter and the kids love them.
We have stayed the the Dynasty 12 times and really love the place. We have never had any problems there - especially since having our son. We always take the hydralite (?) ice blocks with us and give our son one a day. We also use aqua ear after every swim. He has never had bali belly (touch wood) and eats from all the restaurants. This time a chemist friend has suggested that we give him the kids chewable inner health plus tablets as he will be a bit more adventerous with foods. Anything else that he may need is available in Bali.
I hope you decide to go. You will have a wonderful holiday. If you want to know any more you can email me by clicking on my user name above (remove the no spam from the begining of the email address).
