In the mornings one side of the pool is in shade and other side in full sun - did not use it in the afternoons but in theory it should swap. The pool is fairly small but I never had trouble finding a sunlounge and the pool was never crowded. There are 2 pools, the one that shows blue checked tiles next to the rooms was never used while I was there, the one I described above is set more in the gardens. I stayed in one of the refurbished rooms and was pleasantly surprised. Great location.
