Just arrived back from staying at the Melasti last week. At the moment most people are getting an automatic upgrade as so few people are staying in the hotel - (like most others). Due to lack of people the old pool area is normally quite quiet. I agree with others that the best rooms are the suites between the main (old) pool and the beach. Enjoy the hotel, the staff are great. Have a nice holiday.
