There are much better places to buy orchids than Bali Orchid Gardens, and by this I mean cheaper and with a larger range. Despite being halfway through a good bottle of Australian white, my first in a long time, I'll refrain from commenting on the business practises of owner of Bali Orchids Garden's and exposing myself to possible accusations of slander. God I'ma saint!!
Meanwhile, back at the ranch.....
A lot of the nurseries in Bali purchase their bottled orchids from Royal who have what is probably the biggest labs in east Java.
Their place is in Ubung, on the main road that goes out to Tanah Lot and Tabanan. It's the biggest road that goes out that way, you can't not go on that road and no self respecting (male) taxi driver would need to ask for directions.
