No you can definately just turn up, even in peak season there is no problem, the locals get on the roof if it is too full, and anyone adventourous like my kids.
Someone mentioned that somewhere on the Coconuts hill is building a hole for a pool. We are going over in April and are going to lend the owners of Puri Nusa some money for a pool but obviously that will not be ready in 4 weeks. Have a great time.
