Yes AngieC, what you said is very true.
We was told by our Bali frend, the driver is not only asking for commission, they also ask for free meals & clothing, cigarettes & petrol allowence, that's the reason why the rest have to top-up the prices in order to cover the cost.
They always kept 2 menus with different prices, so if you wanted a great value meals, you can never go tru the driver instead deal with the rest direct.
