Hi to all who have just returned from a trip to Bali! I and two friends will be headed there in September. Did you have any concerns about safety while you were there? I see "Julie" mentioned the street vendors were more agressive then usual. This will be my first trip along with one of my friends. The other one has travelled to Bali many times and loves it.
Canadians...anyone have any trouble with insurance coverage? I'd like to know if I will. Hadn't thought about it until I read some of the archives from 2004.
I am one excited 'Canuck' looking forward to this trip. I just want reassurance that it is as safe as anywhere else in today's world. Canadian Gov. is warning against travelling anywhere in Indonesia. Are they just covering their political 'butts'?
