I am trying to work out where I will stay for Nyepi also as will have 2 kids with me. I considered staying at the Grand Bali Mirage. I got a quote direct for their all inclusive package and could get it for USD $180.00 for the 3 of us including a room upgrade to Ocean view deluxe (same price for double as 11 year old free) The list of included items is huge, although activities will be restricted because of Nyepi. All food and drink is covered 24 hours and this includes cocktails and the mini-bar! So it probably works out to great value, especially as 5 star hotels charge 5 star prices for food and drink anyway. The only problem is, I want to be closer to Kuta to see the Ogoh-ogoh parade.
I am still tossing up what to do and have decided to wait till I get to Bali to decide.
