I am off to Bali on SUnday..cant wait. I purchased some padlocks and they now have number code tags. What they are are cable ties with a number on each one. There is also a corresponding number which you snap off and keep with you. If the numbers dont match at the end of the line you know that the bags have been interfered with.

We have been to Bali 14 times, first time in 1985. Never had a problem. I think all this business has made people really nervous and as mackas said surely you would know you had an extra 5 kg in a body board bag.

Coming home they would never be able to get a cigarette paper in my luggage. It would absolutly burst!
