Last time we went We took cash in $100 notes and left these in security box and whenever we needed a top up of money we would convert $100 (easier to convert in your head, less chance of being ripped off).only used kodak shop money changers.
For Restraunts we used a visa card( didnt get ripped off, always watched transaction).
Also took ATM card but left this in security box as a backup for when the cash ran out (please note you can change the higher amount rp lmt on atm machine to withdraw more).
Another good idea, something I picked up from the forum was a lady said she carrys 2 wallets 1 for smaller notes and coin for sml purchaes and taxis etc and the second for higher dem notes this way you dont get 5000rp mixed with 50000rp when your unfamilier with foreign notes. Atm and money changers everywhere only used Kodak shops. enjoy.
