It is as safe as anywhere else in Indo. I was on Gili T this October when the bomb went off in Bali. It was actually pretty busy then. We were going to one of the parties, and it was packed. When news of the bomb came, everyone started to leave the island, as they were doing in Bali. The locals were really worried about how quiet it would get. I'm imagining that if you go, it will be very quiet. But it is a great place, so definitely worth going - as you will know! One of my favourite islands of all.
