Well arrived home on Sunday after a delayed flight both in Denpasar and Melbourne by the time we got to Sydney we were exhausted. Stayed at the Green Garden in Tuban had room 31 do not recommend. The bathroom roof leaked everytime it rained and staff just said tile off the roof no attempt to fix or change rooms. Room was noisy from music in the restaurant area. This is the only hotel my daughter has not liked. She said the staff were not as friendly as the other hotels and rarely spoke to her. The sheets on the bed were not changed. This is started to sound like a bit a gripe but I expected more after so many recommendations from the forum. In future will be returning to Legian area. Anyway enjoyed Bali as usual the streets are extremely quiet very rarely seeing other tourists on the street shopping. Prices had increased a bit due to the petrol prices doubling but that had to be expected. My daughter loved the new slide at the Waterbom park wants to go back again she asked if we could stop in Bali to go to the Waterbom park on our way back from Hong Kong in a couple of months. Looked at buying land at Krembitan quarter acre for $20,000 and building a villa. I never ate at a restaurant that had any foreign ownership in it as I felt my money is better spent with Balinese run businesses. Will write more later when I recover from Bali withdrawal syndrome
