Hi there,

I stayed at the Ramada Bintang in a family room with 2 other adults in March 2004 and June 2005. We absolutely love the hotel, and the only reason we're not staying there this year is because we want to try staying in some other areas (Sanur and Legian).

The family rooms are a bit of a walk from the pool (probably 3 minutes), but it's nice and quiet and closer to breakfast and reception. The rooms are comfortable and clean, the TV works and the bathroom is good.

The buffet breakfasts are fantastic - we used to eat plenty at breakfast and then skip lunch. There are all types of food available - Indonesian dishes, bacon, sausages, baked beans, eggs, hash browns, pancakes, pastries, toast, fruit, vegetables, fresh juice, cereal etc.

The pool is enormous and has these great cascading waterfalls, and is right on the beach front. The spa prices are a bit high, but it's situated right on the beach beside the pool if you want to use it.
