My own favorite is the Inna Garuda located right on the main shopping strip, but sets back in its own grounds. Has an outdoor pool and lathough it is older (dates back to the Dutch) it has been pretty well kept up-- I usually book on arrival at the airport-- price range from 200,000-350,000 with breakfast.
If you want to go a little more upscale both the Melia (best int he downtown area) and the Santika are good and probably in the 500,000 per nite rang with breakfast
