Accommodation - more expensive in 2006?

We have found that accommodation this year is approx $600-$800 more than 2005, for 3 us to stay at MBR in a family suite room.We have had several quotes and they vary - but all are between $600 and $800 more than last year for a stay of 25 nights during the same time fram as we have done for several years. The best quote to date is from our driver who made enquiries on our behalf, but all the prices seem to have risen heaps. Is any one else getting similar results?
