able to have one agent book for both of you, and hopefully be able to avoid single room supp. They only way it might come unstuck is if you are booking a package holiday and the agent cant book through the same wholesaler because of the different airlines.
It would be best if you can both agree to use the same travel agent.
It doesnt matter where you flight originates provided the package can be organized thru the same wholesaler at least for the land content.
You really need to check with an Travel Agent to get an answer that is 100% correct. good luck...
