Hi we stayed in the superior rooms in Sept/Oct 05. We have been to Bali several times and loved this hotel. Large enough to get a sunlounge around the pool, small enough for the staff to remember you by name. The rooms were very clean and modern. We had two interconnecting rooms and they we spacious for us (2 adults plus a 16yo boy and a 9yo boy) for two weeks. We had friends staying in a villa overlooking the pool (a suite- 2 adults and 1 child) widescreen tv and lounge area with a verandah looking out to sea. The bathroom in the suite was much more luxurious than the two superior rooms, but we had more space altogether. Close to everything. We did not use their laundry but walked straight out the entrance and across the road above the Red Line shop up steep iron stairs, the laundry was cheap and just fantastic. Breakfast was great, boys ordered pancakes everyday and any type of eggs, fresh fruit, yoghurt etc. Two for one cocktails after 5 around the pool was social. We were there when the bomb exploded at Jimbaren as they staff were very good etc. We were also there when the previous bomb exploded in Kuta but not at that hotel, and the Niksoma staff were so much more caring. We will definitely go back to that hotel.
