We went to Yoga a few years back and there is heaps to see there. I know all the usual sights will be listed on the brochures but if there are any that list The Water Palace - go there. Hubby and I found that most fascinating.
Go to Borobodur early in the morning. The heat is one thing but the crowds are another. You will become an instant celebrity there as locals ask to have their photo taken with you and you'll find them taking your picture when you least expect it. We loved the sights of Yoga. I had a problem with the smell from the bikes and all the kerosine stoves but I wouldn't have missed seeing what Yoga has to offer. Flying in through a corridor of extinct volcanos is a sight you'll never forget. When we went we flew with Merpati or something like that and were upgrade to BC. Run an archive check and see what that brings up.
